Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at Lavender@Guesthouse, I appreciated the balance it struck between value and a slight touch of luxury. Situated conveniently near essential amenities like convenience stores and eateries, the location simply cannot be beaten for those interested in exploring the area. The shared kitchen was particularly useful, allowing me to prepare meals during my visit-which I certainly recommend for those keen on budget-friendly options. The leisure room provided a comfortable space for unwinding after a day of cycling through Melaka's rich history. While my room itself wasn't extravagant, it was clean, and the basic facilities met my needs adequately. Staff, particularly Anuar, were friendly and approachable, reflecting the warm hospitality often found throughout Malaysia. While it may not have the opulence of some hotels, the financial wisdom of staying here given its prime location and communal amenities makes it a worthwhile choice for travelers who appreciate both history and comfort.
